My understanding of God and Jesus

In my understanding of my walk with God and Jesus, it is not only to share my love and devotion to them, but also to help you see a different way to view my Lord Jesus and our Father, through all the ways I believe and see them in my life. These posts are about my beliefs and the experiences they have had with me. You don't have to have the same thoughts as I do, or believe in them like I do. But as I share with you, you can always share your thoughts with me. I have decided before we begin our Jounry. I want to share this with you.  I call this my good Book. You know how a good book can make you want to jump to the end before you finish, or the beginning. Well, this is the beginning of a good book. This story is about a child who was introduced to the Bible but was not taught how to understand it. Have you ever wanted to learn something, but the teacher was not there to teach you and answer your questions? I have gone through this with the bible and got lost in how I was ex...

Love for God and Jesus and all of their creation.

This next word of my five core words might bother some people. As stated in my Bible, it is true about what God says regarding the word 'love'. Give every word of this your full attention. My word is Love. A powerful word by itself, yet some people cannot see that in the word itself. So, I hope that after reading my post, you gain a stronger understanding of the word 'Love'. Let's begin with the dictionary definition of the word' love' in my Webster's New Universal Unabridged Dictionary. It states: Love is a profoundly tender and passionate affection for another person. 2) A feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection as for a parent, child, or friend. 3) Sexual passion or desire. 4) A person toward whom love is felt, be it a person or a sweetheart. 5) Used indirect address as a term of tenderness, affection, or the like. " Would you like to see a movie. Love. 6) A love affair, an intensely amorous incident: amour. 7) Sexual intercourse, c...
" HOPE " What does Hope mean to me? First, what does hope mean to you? Is it this hope that is given to you in my Webster's New World Dictionary, which states: Hope a feeling that what is wanted will happen; Desire accompanied by expectation. ( 2) The object of this. (3) A person or thing on which one may base some hope. To want and expect, to hold on to hope. Or is your hope like this, in Proverbs chapter 13, verse 12 states: Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: But when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. When I think of hope, I also think of the dictionary definition of the word 'hope,' but at the same time, I genuinely believe that my hope is in my Lord Jesus and our Father. The reason for me is to have hope in God, and Jesus means to have trust that what I hope for will be there and will not make my life worse, but will make it better. So, in saying this I also want to state this in Hebrews, chapter 11 verses 1 and 2 states; What is Faith? It is the c...
My next post will follow up on my previous post about my five core beliefs. Which are Belief, Faith, Trust, Hope, and Love. I have shared with you the Concepts of Belief and Faith. Now I am going to share with you about Trust. " Trust " What is Trust? According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, trust is defined as: 1) Reliance on another, and 2) Assured hope. 3) Credit. 4) Property held or managed on behalf of another. 5) Combination of firms that reduces competition. 6) Something entrusted to another care. 7) Custody-dependent: Hope and Entrust. 8) Have Faith in. In the Holy Bible, it states: In Isaiah chapter 26, verse 4, Trust ye in the Lord forever, for in JE-HO-VAH is everlasting strength. In Psalm 4:5, it states, "Offer the sacrifice of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord." I also want to help those who might not understand. What God's word is saying. So, I am also using my Holy Bible, New International Version. In the Bible, Isaiah 26:4 states...

Believe/Belief

Why I believe in God and Jesus. First, I want to ask you, do you believe that God and Jesus are real? Or do you even know about them at all? In John 3:16, it states that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. When I first read this, I thought Will I have eternal life? So, I decided I wanted more information about this statement from God, about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and for us to believe in him. In my Life Application Study Bible, in John 3:15, it states, "So that everyone who believes in me (Jesus Christ) will have eternal life." I have another verse from my Study Bible to share with you. According to my study Bible, in the study section of my Life Application Bible, in chapter 3, verses 14 and 15, it states that when the Israelites were wandering in the Wilderness, God sent a plague of snakes. To punish the people for their rebellious attitudes. Those doomed to die from snakebite could be healed by obeying God's command to look up at ...

Faith

February 2, 2025 Faith Faith, why do I have true faith?  I can not tell you about your faith or its importance to you. This is not why I am writing my post. I'd like to share my thoughts on faith. So, what is true faith? To me, it is another way of believing in God and Jesus. In the Webster's New World Dictionary. The word Faith states: to trust, 1) unquestioning belief, specifically in God, a religion, etc., 2) A particular religion, 3) complete trust or confidence. 4) Loyalty. This is a kind of faith, but when I say to you that I have true faith. I am talking about my faith in God and Jesus, because of what Jesus said to his disciples after he had said to a fig tree. "Let no fruit grow on thee hence forever". Then the tree withered away and they marvelled, saying, How did the fig tree wither so quickly. Jesus answered and said unto them, Veri...

With God and Jesus, I walk.

With God and Jesus, I Walk. To begin my story, I need to share this with you. First, in my life, there were always questions. For me, who is God, and what is the importance of worshiping, believing, serving, and following my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? I have gone to many different churches but never joined any of them. My reason for this was that I felt that I was not getting the right answers to my questions. You see, my mother introduced me to the bible. Then she gave me an orange color book called Paradise. I loved that book; it taught me about my heavenly Father, His creation, and His son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. LOL, I'm not sure if any of you remember that book. But you can believe me, it was a good beginning book about the bible for me. But then at age 13, my mother passed, and with no other family to go to. I was all alone because I felt this way. I turned away from my Heavenly Father and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And, by doing this, I had opened the do...
