My next post will follow up on my previous post about my five core beliefs. Which are Belief, Faith, Trust, Hope, and Love. I have shared with you the Concepts of Belief and Faith. Now I am going to share with you about Trust.
" Trust "
What is Trust? According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, trust is defined as: 1) Reliance on another, and 2) Assured hope. 3) Credit. 4) Property held or managed on behalf of another. 5) Combination of firms that reduces competition. 6) Something entrusted to another care. 7) Custody-dependent: Hope and Entrust. 8) Have Faith in.
In the Holy Bible, it states: In Isaiah chapter 26, verse 4, Trust ye in the Lord forever, for in JE-HO-VAH is everlasting strength. In Psalm 4:5, it states, "Offer the sacrifice of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord." I also want to help those who might not understand. What God's word is saying. So, I am also using my Holy Bible, New International Version. In the Bible, Isaiah 26:4 states, "Trust in the Lord, for the Lord is the Rock eternal." In Psalm 4:5, it states: "Offer right sacrifices and trust in the Lord."
In today's world, we can give 10% of our income to the Lord, or we can donate our time to others without expecting compensation. There are many ways to show others that we care, and we can use this to demonstrate our trust in God.
I am not telling you how to live your life. Because only you can decide what you trust and whom you trust. But for me, I put my trust in God and his Son, my Lord Jesus Christ, and his gifts to me, his Holy Spirit, and because of that, I live with them. To help me to listen, to learn, and to lead. Because I trust God, His Son Jesus, and His Holy Spirit, this is what helps me live in this world.
So, who is your helper in this world? Mine is God and His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. What is Yours?
Thank you for reading my post.
God bless you and your family.
Gary.
