My understanding of God and Jesus

 

In my understanding of my walk with God and Jesus, it is not only to share my love and devotion to them, but also to help you see a different way to view my Lord Jesus and our Father, through all the ways I believe and see them in my life. These posts are about my beliefs and the experiences they have had with me. You don't have to have the same thoughts as I do, or believe in them like I do. But as I share with you, you can always share your thoughts with me. I have decided before we begin our Jounry. I want to share this with you. 

I call this my good Book.

You know how a good book can make you want to jump to the end before you finish, or the beginning. Well, this is the beginning of a good book. This story is about a child who was introduced to the Bible but was not taught how to understand it.

Have you ever wanted to learn something, but the teacher was not there to teach you and answer your questions? I have gone through this with the bible and got lost in how I was expected to understand and learn it. Did you ever feel like this? Was this normal for you? Or did you just feel confused? I know I was.

In this world, we all have learned different ways to read our Bibles and have been taught various ways to understand what is being said to us. What are we being asked to do? What should we derive from our teaching? As a child, I always wondered: Do we all, even though we are all different, serve the same God and His Son, Jesus? I never got an answer as a child, and as a 68-year-old man, I still have not gotten an answer. Do you know?

People are saying today that this is the beginning of the end of the world. Do you believe that is true? I understand why someone may think that the world is coming to an end. But, I do not because if what is said in the book of Revelation is true then what is happening is no way this.at least not yet. I believe in what the Book of Revelation states, but I also think that all these things will come in God's time, not before.

My goal in this story is to share with you my life with God and Jesus and how they have helped me.

I hope you read it for Understanding, Knowledge, and wisdom.

Believe/Belief

 Why I believe in God and Jesus. First, I want to ask you, do you believe that God and Jesus are real? Or do you even know about them at all? In John 3:16, it states that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. When I first read this, I thought Will I have eternal life? So, I decided I wanted more information about this statement from God, about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and for us to believe in him. In my Life Application Study Bible, in John 3:15, it states, "So that everyone who believes in me (Jesus Christ) will have eternal life." I have another verse from my Study Bible to share with you. According to my study Bible, in the study section of my Life Application Bible, in chapter 3, verses 14 and 15, it states that when the Israelites were wandering in the Wilderness, God sent a plague of snakes.
